Bernard Lebelle and Davis Mukasa had the pleasure of a virtual coffee chat with two people instrumental in IKEA’s recent transformational sustainability journey: Pia Heidenmark Cook, and Lisen Wirén, co-authors of “Embedding Sustainability: How to Drive Organizational Transformation”.

Pia is known for her transformational work as Chief Sustainability Officer at IKEA, and Lisen, who has been at IKEA for almost 15 years, is the Programme Manager at IKEA Social Entrepreneurship. They wrote the book together based on their time working together.

This was a candid and insightful chat with lots of clear takeaways from two of the most accomplished and dynamic thinkers in corporate sustainability strategy and delivery today.
